About Ezca Rizqia

Artist · Educator · Creative Wellbeing Facilitator · Regenerative Practitioner

I’m Ezca Rizqia, an artist, educator, and creative wellbeing facilitator from Sumedang, West Java, now based in Bali.

My work explores the intersection of creativity, wellbeing, education, and regeneration—and how these can help us build more conscious ways of living, learning, and relating to the world.

From Imaginary Worlds to Real Ones

I grew up immersed in Japanese anime and Disney animation. Their imaginative worlds inspired me to pursue a career in animation.

I studied art and animation in Bandung and Yogyakarta, later continuing my studies at Bandung Institute of Technology and through professional arts and animation programmes.

I went on to work across the animation and game industry as an animator, educator, animation lead, supervisor, and production manager.

Working across both creative and managerial roles taught me to combine imagination with execution: to create, teach, collaborate, lead, and bring ideas into reality.

But eventually, I became curious about creating something beyond digital worlds.

A Change of Direction

A pivotal moment came when I joined MIR, travelling by sea around Indonesia.

Being immersed in the ocean and seeing ecological conditions firsthand opened my eyes to the scale and reality of environmental degradation. It became a bridge between my life in animation and a growing interest in ecology, sustainability, and regeneration.

It changed the questions I was asking.

Not only “What can I create?”
but also:

“What kind of world are we creating?”

That question continues to shape my work today.

Creativity, Wellbeing & Regeneration

My creative journey gradually expanded into the exploration of the inner world.

Through SoulHub, I facilitate experiences combining movement, yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound, creative expression, and contemplative practice—creating spaces for people to reconnect with themselves.

My work then naturally expanded outward: from the individual, to community, to children, and to our relationship with the living world.

Through Bekandze Farm, I explore regenerative agriculture, ecological learning, and more sustainable ways of relating to land and livelihood.

Through Anak Semesta, I develop educational experiences with children, schools, and other institutions, focusing on consciousness, connection, creativity, values, and the capacity to adapt to an uncertain future.

My involvement with MIR-Biosphere Foundation continues to support this broader journey toward ecological awareness and regeneration.
